Welcome to Windsor Baptist Church

If you pass down Victoria Street in Windsor town centre you would be mistaken for thinking from the 19th century building that Windsor Baptist Church is traditional.

But that couldn't be further from the reality!

Despite being founded in 1838 and the first Baptist church pioneered in Berkshire, our Christian worship, ministry and activities are highly contemporary, creative and relevant to our 21st century world.

As a Royal town Windsor attracts tourists from the most diverse backgrounds and in a similar way our vision is to be a welcoming and inclusive community.

We believe that we are all unique individuals and recognise that even if we don't all believe exactly the same we can respect one another, learn from one another and work together in building the Kingdom of God.

Our passion is to make a difference both locally and globally through a practical expression of our faith in Jesus Christ.

We value wider links being a part of the “Baptist Union of Great Britain” and we are actively involved in “Churches Together in Windsor” working together with other Christians and denominations whenever possible.
